Levi’s Berry Smoothie

Levi is my 8 year-old son and I am thrilled when I can get him to eat anything remotely nutritious. He loves this smoothie. Hallelujah!

(1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla yogurt works well too, and the yogurt adds some digestion support with probiotic cultures)

Levi’s Berry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen, organic mixed berries
  • 1 cup organic whole milk (we like raw, you can also substitute soy or nut milk)
  • 1 whole ripe banana for sweetness
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground flax

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in the Vitamix and blend until smooth.
  2. Enjoy!
